Lenny Jorns is a singer/songwriter native to New Orleans. His credits include co-writing songs with Gina Schock of the Go-Go’s while living in Los Angeles. To date, Lenny has released seven solo CD’s – six of which are available at www.louisianamusicfactory.com. Notable live performances include the Nashville Extravaganza, Crossroads Music Festival in Memphis, Cutting Edge New Works Showcase in New Orleans, French Quarter Festival, and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Lenny has also performed numerous times at the prestigious Bluebird Café in Nashville, Tn. Notable radio and television performances include Louisiana Jukebox (twice), the WWL-TV Morning News (three times), WWOZ, WTUL interviews, and The Mike Church Show (Satellite Radio).
In addition to songwriting, Lenny has worked as a session bassist with artists such as: Grammy award winner Melissa Ethridge, John Carter Cash, and Grammy nominee Pat McLaughlin.
Lenny Jorns’ music is thought provoking, sincere with emotion, and high in musicality; his songs are enjoyed by a wide range of people. Having performed in both radio and television media, and at music clubs in Memphis, Nashville, New Orleans and Los Angeles, Lenny Jorns is a welcome addition at any venue.
